BahamasBNBs is committed to giving back to The Bahamas, our home. One of our fundamental pillars is to give back to every community that we are a part of, through supporting, working with and highlighting local charities around The Bahamas.
Our President Gina Rodgers-Sealy created the SPACES charity in honour of her mother Eunice Sands.
S.P.A.C.E.S. which stands for Summer Program of Arts and Crafts memory of Eunice Sands is a children (between 8 -16) summer camp in Eleuthera created to continue her passion for arts and craft. Passing on this craft to the next generation is an important part of her legacy.
The camp included creating arts and crafts infused with local flare such as, bath salts and scrubs infused with sour sop along with the pineapple and blueberry blends. Tours of local Native Plant Preserve, Necklaces made with essential oils infused with local tea leaves with medicinal qualities like breadfruit, mango and soursop…

For more than a decade, Freedom to Read Inc. has been taking donated books to Eleuthera Island.
Our team works hand-in-hand with community residents and local government leaders to refurbish and remodel buildings, install library collections and train library attendants and staff.
Bahamas Plastic Movement believes that through research, education, citizen science & policy change, we can create a healthy marine and terrestrial environment free of plastic pollution.
BPM’s mission is to build a community of education and activism around plastic pollution. By empowering Bahamians to contribute to hands on citizen science and environmental leadership, we aim to evolve mindsets and spark cultural practices that will be pivotal in executing changes at the policy level.
We envision a Bahamas where an engaged public has created a nation free of plastic debris.
